ShopInBerkeley's Park of the Month for November
Indian Rock Park
Dedicated in 1917, Indian Rock Park offers multiple uses from technical rock climbing and bouldering to picnicing to sunset watching. For those inclided to use steps and not ropes, one can reach the top of the rock using steps cut into the rock along the south side.

Map to Indian Rock Park
The map does not show Indian Rock Trail that goes from Solano & The Alameda up three blocks across The Arlington and one more block to the Rock.
There's not a lot of parking at the park (it's right smack in the middle of a neighborhood), but it's one block from AC Transit's7line (get off at Arlington & Indian Rock Walk) and three or four blocks from line 9(get off at Sutter & Hopkins), 15(get off at Colusa & Solano), or 43(get off at Solano & The Alameda).
