Monkey Business Camp was started in 1999 by local educators, Stacy Raye and Heather Mitchell. They began with 18 children at a site in Tilden Park in Berkeley and now happily serve over 450, ages 5-15, each summer. Throughout the years, the camp has provided a great opportunity for kids of all ages to explore the natural world, play, learn, and relax in beautiful settings. Highly qualified and caring staffs have guided the way, creating a supportive and fun community. To find out more about the current program offerings, which include 4 programs this summer and Winter, February and Spring Camps, please go to our website or call our office. We started Monkey Business Camp to nurture the creativity and individuality of each child in a loving and magical environment. We develop programs to achieve a balance between structure and spontaneity, to provide for the varied needs and interests of campers, and to build a powerful, peaceful, fun-loving community. Our programs offer a great opportunity for kids of all ages to explore the natural world, play, learn, and relax in beautiful settings. Highly qualified and caring staff guide the way, creating a supportive and fun community. We buy our food from the farmer's market and local businesses, with the goal of serving almost 100% organic.
