Café Zeste

Café Zeste is an oasis—a warm, friendly, comfortable café in a unique setting—the historic red brick Strawberry Creek Design Center. You can enjoy a delectable meal or a beverage or snack on the brick patio on the edge of Strawberry Creek Park or in our cozy dining room.

Café Zeste is owned and operated by two seasoned professionals in the Bay Area restaurant scene, formerly managers of Santa Fe Bar & Grill and Santa Fe Bistro in Berkeley. Chef Rubén Ramírez is the master behind the food preparations and catering creativity. Floor Manager Bahman Shayesteh has many years of experience in fine restaurants, putting together successful parties and gatherings, as well as maintaining friendly daily service at Café Zeste.

The Café can accommodate up to 50 people for a private event—more if the weather allows expansion onto the patio and Zeste's crew can handle any size gathering off-site.
