Thanks to Webmistris of the
Internet® for the MIDI.
When you're healthy, feeling sane
Pedals under your feet, or wheels on your chair,
So you want to fish, or fly a kite,
And cars are screaming past

Like a bridge over troubled water
You can cross on me
Like a bridge over troubled water,
You can cross on me.

thanks to Paul Simon for the origonal song)

Removing the support
The bridge supports itself!

The fence above the freeway stretch is being assembled.

Notice the temporary support on the left side (below the bridge and above the cars). These were in place to hold the concrete bridge until the suspension arches and cables were erected.

The west approach
The west side of the bridge including the ramp
The ramp curves down to the parking lot south of Seabreeze Market.
The west side
Looks like paving will take place any day now...
The east approach
Looking at the ramp over the Aquatic Park lagoon
Looking from the north end of Aquatic Park, the ramp slopes up toward the bridge.

Notice the small side bulge above the yellow truck. This space has a bench for people to rest and look out over the Aquatic Park Lagoon (you can see it in the middle of the photo below as well).

The east side ramp
Looking from the University overpass, the east side approach ramp slopes down to Aquatic Park as the I-80 exit ramp slopes up to the University Avenue overpass.
