The Arts and Crafts Cooperative Inc. was established in 1957 and is the oldest Arts and Crafts Cooperative west of the Mississippi. We will celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2007. We have featured over 6,000 artist members and guests during this time. Our patrons have come to look upon ACCI Gallery as a place to find unique, exquisitely handcrafted work of the highest quality. We showcase fine craft and fine art including works of ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, metal, textiles, along with painting, photography, sculpture, and fiber. We are always open to challenging and traditional media and welcome our artists to explore their creative boundaries. ACCI is highly regarded as an established venue for collectors as well as a destination for treasured gifts. We are located in the heart of the Gourmet Ghetto on Shattuck Ave in Berkeley. We look forward to introducing you to many of California's premier artists through our gallery, our provocative exhibition series, and window installations. Thanks for all your feedback. Over 300 people voted in my "should I close" poll, and overwhelmingly people want me to stay in business. My "day job" is a high school science teacher, so it's time for another summer push of improvements to the site. Look for them in July and August! Thanks for your input,
